Ethics & limits
This is what we do. And this, what we don't.
This isn't a legal paragraph hidden at the bottom. We put it at the top because it matters more than most of what we have on the site.
The AI mentor is not therapy.
It's designed to help you think more clearly about a project. If you arrive with a difficult personal moment, we detect it and refer you to professionals. We don't improvise there.
We don't give advice without context.
If the conversation doesn't have enough information, the mentor says so. We won't throw out recommendations just for the sake of it. Sometimes the most useful answer is a question.
Your conversations are yours.
We don't sell them or use them to train public models. We store them so the mentor knows you between sessions. If you want to download or delete them, there's a button in your profile.
We say which AI we use.
We call Anthropic or OpenAI models via OpenRouter, with a custom prompt you can read at any time. No black box: if you're interested in how it works, we'll show you.
These are the numbers you need to call before us.
Thoughts of self-harm or suicide
Call a crisis line or emergency services. We can't help you the way you deserve here.
Acute emotional crisis
Public mental health services or a licensed professional.
Violence or abuse
Emergency services or social services.
What we don't do
- Clinical diagnoses.
- Legal, tax or investment advice (though we can refer you if you ask).
- Make decisions for you.
- Success promises or data like "87% of our users achieve…".
- Notifications that make you feel bad for not coming back for three days.
Privacy in brief
We store what you need for the mentor to know you: your profile, your diagnostics, your roadmap and your conversations. Nothing more. If you delete your account, we remove it within 30 days except what the law requires us to keep.
For full detail, see the privacy policy.
If all this fits, the next step is to try it.
